To purchase a print, click here. La Bomba La Bomba- The “Bomba” is a type of Puerto Rican dance originating from Africa. Typically this dance and music includes use of percussion instruments, a person singing, followed by a chorus, and dancing; a woman separate from the man, then together without touching each other. The singing, mostly improvised, expressed a spiritual release caused by the rough times of slavery.
